Furnace Tune-Up & Cleaning in DFW
A clean, safety-checked furnace runs cheaper, lasts longer, and won't quit on the coldest night.
About This Service
A fall furnace tune-up is the cheapest insurance a homeowner can buy. Our technicians clean the burners, check the heat exchanger for cracks, test every safety control, and catch small problems before they leave you without heat. Most no-heat calls we run in January trace back to a furnace that was never serviced.
What You Can Expect
- Burner cleaning and flame-sensor service
- Heat exchanger inspection for cracks and corrosion
- Carbon monoxide safety test
- Igniter, blower motor, and gas-pressure check
- Thermostat calibration and filter replacement
- Written report with any findings and recommendations

Furnace Tune-Up β Common Questions
Fall, before heating season - ideally September through November. A tune-up before the first cold snap catches issues while you still have time to fix them, not on the coldest night of the year.
Our furnace tune-up covers burner and flame-sensor cleaning, a heat exchanger inspection, a carbon monoxide safety test, igniter and blower checks, gas-pressure verification, thermostat calibration, and a filter change.
A dirty or cracked heat exchanger can leak carbon monoxide into your home. Cleaning the burners and inspecting the heat exchanger is as much a safety check as a performance one, which is why we include a CO test every time.
Yes - Comfort Club members get two tune-ups a year (furnace in fall, AC in spring), priority scheduling, and a discount on any repairs. Most members save more than the membership costs in the first year.
What DFW Homeowners Say
We earn every review on every job.
βAC went out on a Friday evening in July. Comfort Land had a tech out by Saturday morning. Diagnosed a bad capacitor, replaced it on the spot, and the price was exactly what they quoted. Will not call anyone else.β

βI've used a lot of HVAC companies over the years and the difference with Comfort Land is night and day. The technician explained everything he was doing, gave me a written quote before touching anything, and the final bill matched exactly.β

βJoined the Comfort Club after my first tune-up and it's already paid for itself. They caught a refrigerant leak during the spring check that would have killed my compressor by July. Grateful they were thorough.β

βPlumbing emergency on a Sunday β water heater was leaking all over the garage. Called at 7am and had a tech at my door by 9. Replaced the unit same day. Honest pricing, no weekend upcharge drama.β

βAs a veteran, I appreciate the discount they offer β it's one of the reasons I called them first. But the quality of the work is why I came back. New AC install was clean, fast, and the tech walked me through the whole system.β

βThree bids on a new HVAC system β Comfort Land was in the middle on price but the only company that explained WHY they recommended the system they did. That transparency won my business. Great install.β
